TrendingOLD is a research project on lives of senior citizens of India. This page is dedicated to understanding what they think is missing for them in the current society and how government policies can help them lead an informed and independent life. In the videos/audios, they share what can get better, and a life advice for youngsters.It’s a social project that aims at “Redefining & Redesigning” lives of senior citizens in India. The project is currently in the Research mode, where in we are talking to Senior Citizens one-on-one to understand what they think is missing for them in today’s world, while in parallel, we are building a huge database of relevant service providers for this segment.

Our goal is to build an online platform dedicated to empowering senior citizens with access to valuable information on non-invasive alternative medical assistance and fostering independent living. As we age, it’s essential to explore various avenues for maintaining health and well-being without invasive procedures, and our platform aims to be the go-to resource for seniors seeking such solutions.

Here’s how our platform can benefit seniors:

1. Comprehensive Information: In Phase 1, our platform shall provide a wealth of information on non-invasive alternative medical treatments, including Ayurveda, acupuncture, chiropractic care, herbal remedies, dietary guidelines, and lifestyle practices. Phase 2 will be dedicated to developing a cost-calculator for survival post-surgery for a period of 5, 10, 15, 20 years, along with a 2-week association with a patient (at a cost) who has already undergone the surgery. This provides fair information for the new patients to make the best decisions for a life that belongs to them and none else. We understand that every individual is unique, and our platform aims at offering a diverse range of options to suit different preferences and needs.
2. Verified Service Providers: We are carefully curating a directory of trusted service providers specializing in non-invasive medical treatments and independent living solutions. Each provider undergoes a thorough vetting process to ensure quality and reliability, giving you peace of mind when seeking assistance.
3. Educational Resources: In addition to service listings, our platform shall offer educational resources to help you make informed decisions about your health and well-being. From articles and videos to expert Q&A sessions, we’re committed to empowering you with the knowledge you need to take control of your health.
4. Community Support: Connecting with peers who share similar experiences can be incredibly valuable. Our platform features community forums and support groups where you can engage with other seniors, share tips and advice, and find encouragement on your journey toward better health and independence.

Going by the UNPD forecast, one in every 5 Indians will be a senior citizen by the year 2050! So, it is imperative for policymakers, businesses, and communities to collaborate in crafting strategies that address these needs, ultimately shaping a future where every senior citizen can thrive.

We are currently seeking interest from Government Stakeholders to review our proposal. A national healthcare project will have significant economic impact. For instance, investing in healthcare infrastructure and services can stimulate job creation, boost local economies, and improve overall productivity.

We believe that every senior deserves access to high-quality, non-invasive medical assistance and support for independent living, and our platform is here to make that a reality.
